3 Squadron Blue

Hoping someone could tell me the correct acrylic colour for the blue on the Tail of 3 Squadron Mustangs. The Red Roo Decal sheet just says 'Light Blue' made up from Dull Blue and White. We all know colours are subjective, but I'm getting lost and bogged down.

Mate, I just went with Tamiya XF-23 Light Blue in the end for mine. It's probably a touch light but matched up well with the photos that Red Roo provided of the real plane. Remember that if this was a "field-mixed" paint then there would've been variations in shade anyway ;) .

Cheers, I have ordered some Tamiya X-14 sky blue and will add some white.
