1/144 Ozmods BAe Hawk T.2

Just about to start this one.

Looks fairly easy to build, good detail for the scale, might have to make some decals up for a RAAF 127 as it comes with Canadian or RAF markings in the kit.

hahaha, not good for people with shakey hands too :D
bit of work done so far triming parts of tree and removing the tiny amount of flash. also test fitting the fuslage halves and wing has shown a bit of sanding needs to be done to get the wing to sit level. no biggy though. might do a bit of extra detailing of the cockpit too and have the canopy open.

some progress

fueslage sides detailed with cut off bits of plastic card and painted with a grey of some description. will put a black wash over it to add more depth to it. then add the seats, control sticks and intrument panels.
added some weight to the nose which was fairly easy, wing required a bit of test fitting but no big dramas. noticed a few small sink marks in the wings but putty should fix that along with join seams. nice little model though.....anyone got any 1/72 scale decal sheets for the hawk they could scan and put up here for me to reduce?

got the rear stabs and intakes on now. (bit of work with the intakes required to get a good join. Working on the ejection seats - wonder how skinny the pilot and nav would have to be. and going to fill the sink mark on the wing. also need to rebuild one of the bumps behind the cockpit as i got carried away sanding. turning out quite nice.
