CAC CA-28 Ceres

Postby herbarnold99 » Fri Apr 06, 2018 7:14 am

Conversion from a Heller Harvard and old MPM Wirraway. Much cutting, puttying, weeping and wailing.

Cheers,
Herb

That’s a big effort just using those two kits.
This has come out superbly and is well worth all the hard work.
Not too many modellers can boast to have a Ceres in their modelling cabinets!

Looks great Herb, are you an ex-pat or just have an interest in the unusual civil types?

That looks great Herb, very impressive. I did my apprenticeship at a company that was an offshoot of Super Spread Aviation, so I particularly like the scheme you've chosen!

Cheers

Thank you all for the nice comments. Not an ex-pat, just an American who had a couple available kits and liked the looks of the Ceres. Thought an Australian audience might appreciate it, or at least know the machine! Here's a couple more shots and some WIP:
