Driving from Phoenix to Tuscon to visit the biggest boneyard of them all we decided to get of the highway and check out a few smaller boneyards

This was Pinal Airpark.

There was also a Army National Guard base there ad we saw UH-72 Lakota and UH-60 Blackhawks flying around. Appartly there are Apaches there but none were flying

20 mins down the round was Marana Northwest Regional Airport. As there were Skyahwks there, albeit in poor shape I demanded we stop.

Once in Tuscon we made our way to the Titan Missile Museum. This is the only preserved Titan II missile site in the USA (and hence the world) .The Titan II was the largest operational land based nuclear missile ever used by the United States. The missile had one W53 warhead with a yield of 9 Megatons (9,000 kilotons).

Next was some attempts to photograph some of the US ANG F-16's and KC-125's operating out of Tuscon International Airport.. Unfortunately the weather and light meant there were no keepers from that evolution

Great photos. They need some Airforce Cadets to get down that tube and give the Titan a polish though.
