I've done a few WIF's recently. The Fw-190 is from a few years ago & is a WIF only in that the Tank-Buster version didn't exist until after Nth Africa was done & dusted & most 190's in that theatre retained Euro camouflage. The Buffalo is typical of a Nth Western Australia based aircraft but has a fictitious identity & back story. The Typhoon was almost an accident. I painted it silver just see what it looked like, liked it & went completely fictitious with it. The Harrier was always going to be Aussie as was the Warthog - it was the most fun.

MMMMMMMM Phantoms :)
Brother: Do you really need that many Phantoms?
Me: Don't make me kick you outta the shed for asking dumb questions
Brother: But are you gonna build all these models?
Me: Yeah of course I am. Now get outta my shed

I think they were actually painted up ready for collection from AMARC when the order was cancelled.
